Proliant ML110 G7 - Illegal OpCode Error Installing Video Card

Attempting to install an EVGA Video Card PN 02G-P3-2713-KR into a Proliant ML110 G7 and seeing the following error on red screen:

Illegal OpCode
EAX=F00047B5, EBX=00000034, ECX=30000001, EDX=0000E800, EBP=00000000, ESI=00010068, EDI=0000FC7C, DS=E2EF, ES=0000 FS=0030, GS=D7A0, CS:EIP=E800:00000BA6, SS:ESP=E2EF:000064B0, EFLAGS=00000803

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure this kind of graphics card is not supported in this server.

Firmware of the server is up to date? In case it's not you may want to update and then try again.

Thank you for the reply.  I will try the firmware upgrade this weekend but in the mean time, do you know where I can find a list of supported graphics cards?
