Proliant ML150 G6 Server SmartStart and WIndows Install Software

I cannot locate the SmartStart and HP WIndows OS software for my Proliant ML150 G6 Server.  I downloaded the smartstart software from the HP Support site but i cannot find the WIndows OS Install disk.  IS there a place that I can download the Windows software?

You will not be able to obtain os media from hp unless You have bought the os/license key it from hp, there is no free public os media download repository.

You will have to provide it by yourself from any of these sources: technet, msdn, action pack, ms  (requires membership) or any vendor (requires $$$).

bottom line: the provider/vendor/sponsor of the ms os license key will be the 1st source for install media too.

Hi,

Adding to the previous post, 100 series servers won't support SmartStart CD.

Some 100 series servers have Easy Set-up CD to setup the server.

Hi,

HP SmartStart CD is not supported on 100 series servers.

Only few 100 series are supported by Easy Set-Up CD's.

The HP ProLiant 100 Series Easy Set-up CDs and their ISO images are available for:
All HP ProLiant 100 G6 series servers, except the HP ProLiant DL165 G6.
The HP ProLiant ML110 G5 and the ML115 G5 servers.

Hello,

After I created the arrays on the server using the Easy set up CD, I'm not able to install the operating system on the server, I tried several times with the DVD and a USB but nothing, I'm triyng to install Windows Server 20008 R2 and the error I'm getting is Boot Failed.

What can I do or verify, to complete this task.
