Proliant ML310e CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED drive locked
Hi, I am setting up a Proliant ML310e server with Windows 2012 R2. All went fine for a few weeks until yesterday morning when it started up and went to repair mode.
When I refresh my PC I get the message "The drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again."
I don't know where to find this unlock option but I think it has something to do with the RAID configuration... (RAID 1, 1TB) When I try Startup Repair it doesn't give me anything, not even a log file.
Rests me no other option than to shutdown... THE END!
Can someone explain what is going on?
Thanks in Advance,
Johan
PS. If it is the RAID controller, can I switch that off and run on one of the 2 disks?

Re: Proliant ML310e CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED drive locked
Hi,
It could be a possible issue due to any encryption software.... if one was installed....
Or, it could probably it is a defective drive. To isolate the issue, run the Array Diagnostics Utility from Intelligent Provisioning and contact HP Support, as it is possible that this server is still within warray period.
Regards,
Vijayasarathy
