Proliant ML310e G8 V2 RAID Configuration
Dear Sirs,
I want to configure a RAID 1+0 in this server with four 2TB disks, but when it is done with the Smart Array, the Windows 2008R2 operating system doesn´t recognize the disks. They are only recognized with AHCI or Legacy but there is no RAID then. Ideally we want a RAID1+0 configuration in this server but optionaly we could work fine with the two disks with no RAID and the others as a mirror disks. Please could you give me some tips I can do to solve this issue. Thanks

Re: Proliant ML310e G8 V2 RAID Configuration
You need to use the special driver for this dynamic smart array (controller B120i). Consider to install the OS via itelligent provisioning (press F10 during boot).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
