Proliant ML370 G3, BIOS
When i upgrade the system BIOS to the latest version, whenever i do a warm reboot, i get the message "Intermediate Bus Error", just after the message "Scanning floppy/Scanning CDrom/Scanning Hdd 0" (just before the W2K loader pops up). The bios update is ProLiant ML370 G3 ROM P28 (01/31/2003). I reverted back to the original BIOS, doesnt seem to have a boot problem. I have W2K SP3+Latest Support Pack. I recently have had a BSOD on every monday (with old bios) for the past 2 weeks (bugcheck 0x00000044). Don't know the error it crashes on, i just recently disabled "reboot when crashdump appears" in W2K

Re: Proliant ML370 G3, BIOS
Apparently something may have gone wrong with the recent firmware update.
For the Stop 0x00000044 error I would recommend going into the Management Agents in the control panel and move the system information agent to the inactive column.

The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: Proliant ML370 G3, BIOS
OK, i put that inactive, and see what happens.
As for the BIOS update, i am sure it was 100% successfull.
Maybe i will call compaq/hp customer line.
