"Fatal ROM error" on a Proliant DL580 G5

To begin, sorry for my bad English, I am French.

I have a Proliant DL580 G5 who stopped working without I knowing why, now the server display this message and then halt :

"FATAL ROM ERROR: The System ROM is not properly programmed.

- Replace the physical ROM part.

- System halted!"

What do I need to do? I do not understand why this message appears, while the server was working fine.
Could someone help me if possible.

You can try setting maintenance switch #6 to the On position and see if that clears the error. If the System ROM is really defective the only recourse is to change out the system board
