Remote BIOS passwords reset
Hi there,
we have a ML110 server 2000 kilometers away and we need to reset the BIOS password. Is there any possibility to do this remote? The server doesn't have iLO and we only have access via rdp.
We need to change the boot-priority but the server is BIOS-locked and nobody knows the password.
I don't have a trained engineer on-site to do a CMOS-reset.
Is there any possibility to do this?
Thank you very much!

Re: Remote BIOS passwords reset
IMHO the only way is to reset the system via System maintenance switch.
...
When the system maintenance switch position 6 is set to the On position, the system is prepared to erase all
system configuration settings from both CMOS and NVRAM.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
