SolutionHi Early,
As I know, SAS drive (PM1633a) has the MTFB or Hours of operation as 2,000,000 hours.
And you can get the 'power on hours' for each drive in 'Physical drive details' window.

Re: SAS Drive how to read operating hour / Smart status ?
Good day!
You may try the below ones:
>> Launch the HPE SSA tool on your server. This tool provides a graphical interface for managing and monitoring storage devices.
>> On the left-hand side of the interface, you'll see a list of controllers. Select the P408i-a controller that is managing your SAS drives.
>> Once you've selected the controller, you should see a list of managed drives. Right-click on the SAS drive you want to inspect and select "View Status" or a similar option. This should open a window or panel with detailed information about the selected drive.
>> In the "Physical Drive Details" section, you should be able to find information about the drive's health, status, and attributes. Look for an attribute that corresponds to "Power On Hours" or something similar. This attribute will show you the number of hours the drive has been powered on.
Please note that the exact layout and terminology might vary slightly based on the version of the HPE SSA tool you are using. If you're having trouble finding the specific attribute you're looking for, I recommend consulting the user guide or documentation for the HPE SSA tool, which should provide detailed instructions on how to access drive information including power-on hours. You may find it here: https://support.hpe.com/
I hope this helps! Let me know...
