Slowly sequence write speed (HP Smart array b110i )
Hi Everybody.
I had a problem - If you reinstall the operating system (w2008x64) server hp proliant ml110 g7 (HP smart array b110i 1 +0 RAID) repeatedly decreased application performance. Moreover all internal Windows processes operate without performance degradation (Windows backup task or banal copying file with Explorer). But third-party applications are less fortunate - such as database FireBirD runs 10 times slower than a normal desktop computer without RAID Array. Having tested RAID Array utility iometer, I found that the rate sequence writing does not rise above 100 IOPS (4KB block). Other parameters (sequential / random read .... - normal). I tried all that is possible - all variations FirmWare System board ROM / RAID ROM, Drivers for RAID Array, WIndows Update, swap the drives third vendors, other modes raid array (only Stripe). All this has no effect.
*add:Stripe size =128kb
I hope to get advice.Sorry for the english (google translate).
In advance thanks.
