Smart Array P410i in ML350G6 wouldnt extand

Hi,

I have an HP ML35 350 G6 with Smart Array P410i.

It had 4 active drives and 1 spare 279Gb each making 838 G logical drive. I have added another drive and added it to the raid so there are 5 x 279 Gb drives in the raid. It has synced but logical drive still showing only 838 Gb size when it should be 1116Gb.

Any ideas?

Just thinking out loud, not sure if its actually correct:
If you let the acu decide what is the best solution for your setup, it might have changed it from a RAID 5 + spare to a RAID 6 + spare.
Might want to check if the selected RAIDA level is correct.

Thanks for the thought but fault tolerance is still Distributed Data Guarding (RAID 5), not raid 6
