SNMP v3 after update to iLO 5 2.96

Hi, after upgrading one ProLiant DL 360-Gen10 to iLO 2.96 we cannot connect via SNMP v3 anymore:

Error: -33

We re-entered the credentials but without success! Anybody with the same problem?

Beside iLO the server is not up-to-date ... we will install the latest SPP in some weeks, but can this really be our problem?

Where do you get this error 33?
Is there any message along with the error code?
Have you checked the Integrated Management Log for any issues in iLO?

Hi, we query the HPE ILO Interface via SNMP v.3 with the  "HPE ProLiant System Health Sensor" from Paessler:

Since upgrading one server to iLO 2.96 this sensor returns the following error:

SNMPERR_UNKNOWN_USER_NAME (SNMP-Fehler # -33)

We dobule checked all settings (a.o. we created a new SNMP user and restarted iLO) and we tested the connection with an SNMP tester but we also receive the error code 33!

SNMPERR_UNKNOWN_USER_NAME

The above error, I dont think its related to iLO or its FW.
You may try the following ways to login, domain\username or user@domain.
If none of the above works and still need assistance, you may log a case with HPE Support.

Hi, I found the solution:

under SNMP Alerts the option "SNMPv3 Request" was disabled! After enabling it, it worked again! Must have something to to with the iLO 2.96 update!
