If you are looking for Spare Parts or Option Parts for your HPE Servers, Storage or Networking products, visit the updated Parts Lookup page for your one stop lookup of all part number detail. Drill down into new model numbers, spare parts numbers, available option parts, and more for your specific HPE product series or model.

That is helpful, thanks.

Is there a resource available that maps the option numbers to spare numbers of HP/HPE parts?

Option parts are parts you can buy and install as an optional parts in your server, e.g. additional disks.

Spare parts are for replacing a bad part.

Hope this helps!

Re: Spare Parts or Option Parts Lookup for Servers/Storage/Networking

Thanks. But as I understood :

1 - All of these 3 types of part numbers are valid ?

2- As I understood Drive Assembly used while disk or device ordered on the server

3- If our previous disk failed and we want replace it with new disk in this step our disk or device use two types Option Part number  and spare part number . Is that correct ?

4- if answer of question 3 and 4 are Yes thus if we buy a new HPE server and it contains SSD disk  surely SSD part number's disk are drive assembly ?
