SPP 2014.02.0B seems to make a ML 350 G6 hang on pulsating logo screen
Downloaded the above mentioned service pack, burnt the ISO to a DVD and booted the server from it.
Got a question about interactive or automatic update. Chose interactive.
Got to the screen with the pulsating HP logo and a slowly moving blue gauge.
When the blue gauge filled it's box I expected something more to happen. It didn't.
Now it has been that way for maybe 2 hours. What should I do? Is something going on, or can I safely remove
the DVD and reboot.
11 PM here in Norway, and the server must be up and running again when this dentists' office opens tomorrow morning.
Update:
---------
Immediate crisis over. Agreed with business owner to just take the chance on a restart. Server up and running again.
