Storage manager SMTP authentication

Hi,

I'm using Storage Manager 5.01 on an ML110. It finds the embedded SATA array fine, and all looks good, except that I'd naturally like to configure email notification for problems. setting the SMTP server value is fine, but there doesn't seem to be any way of configuring authentication for the SMTP server - does it really assume/expect/need an open SMTP server?

Same problem here, can't send mail w/o smtp auth.

I am having the same issue. HP Support where are you? My SMTP server requires authentication as well.
