Upgrade P420i on DL380-G8

Hello,

We get errors on controler P420i with DL380-G8. The last version of Firmware for P420i on G8 is 8.00. Today we have to reboot server to recover a sain P420i controler.

Can we upgrade to 8.32 ?

Why that question ? The SPP available for G8 don't contain last P420i firmware. If we try an other SPP version, HPE ask customer to assume risk of update.

Can we really uses update version over the G8 SPP ?

Yes

I see no problem with a Firmware Update out of SPP.
The G8 SPP is Out-of-Date and is no longer maintained.

You can download the Linux Version, extract and copy to the SPP ISO.
Or use any other way.

Hello,

Firmware 8.32 for P420i fix our contoler problem. We update all P420i with 8.00 for P420i old freezing problem.

8.32 seems to be required for P420i.
