Use iLORest to monitor hardware health
Hi All,
We have some servers where we can't use HPE IRS or OneView to configure email alerts or log case with HPE due to different reasons. I was curious if we can leverage iLORest for hardware monitoring, like we can create a small script on server to check hardware status every hour and report back if any issue. Please let me know if anyone has any other alternative. Just for reference we have G8, G9 & Gen10 hardware.
Thank you and appreciate your response.

Re: Use iLORest to monitor hardware health
Hello Ari000,
You could try settting up iLO Email Alert Notifications to report the errors/issues logged on the servers.
The step by step procedure is listed out in below user guides:
Gen8 & Gen9 (iLO4 User Guide): https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c03334051
Gen10 (iLO5 User Guide): https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00105236en_us
Hope it Helps!

Re: Use iLORest to monitor hardware health
Thank you for your response. This is what we already have in our environment, but we want something more advanced, would like to have a script monitor HW health and generate report.
OneView or IRS is not an option as they don't work with NAT IPs.
Thank you.
