Re: WARNING: SmartArray 6400 bios (version 2.26)
To fix it, you need to use a SmartStart CD (I used version 6.40) and a diskette of the 2.26 bios. You need to "use suplemental disk" and then select "Custom" and select the Allow for forcing the bios to overwite.
It takes a few hours to re-charge the batteries. I let it run for 24 hours before I looked at it again.

Re: WARNING: SmartArray 6400 bios (version 2.26)
HP released Customer Advisory EX04528_CW01 stating that the Battery Messages are "Erronious" and a few methods of saving yourself from failed flash messages.
Here is the advisory for you all to read:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=PSD_EX040528_CW01&printver=true
Once again, they are re-releasing the "On-Line" version of the bios which caused the error in the first place.
So Beforwarned that if you use it you are asking for trouble. Use the "Offline" version via SmartStart and save yourself the heartache.
