Where to download Innovation Engine (OS Independent) 0.1.5.2 firmware for DL380 Gen10 servers?

HP website mentions 0.1.5.2 but does not have any visible links to the firmware download.  Latest signed .bin file on HP site is 0.1.4.4 eventhough it's supposed to be removed.

You may extract the RPM to get the *bin file.

I downloaded the *bin too, but forgot the link.

Thanks for that, I found the .bin files.

There are two zip files, each containing a bin file:

cp034104.zip contains IEGen10_0.1.5.2.signed.bin

cp034105.zip contains IEGen10_0.1.5.2b.signed.bin

Is one of them an incremental update perhaps?

I can find a RPM and a EXE version of this bundle, but not the BIN.

So there is no B version for the two.

But usually if there is a B version, they changed something regarding the firmware loader, but the firmware itself remains the same.

"The designation of the "B" in the filename indicates that this image is to be used on systems at or older than the IE 0.1.3.2 firmware version."

So check your "Firmware" tab and see which Innovation Engine you currently have.

If its version is 0.1.3.2 or Older, use the B updater. (cp035900.zip at the time of this writing)

Anything newer than 0.1.3.2, use the NonB updater. (cp035129.zip at the time of this writing)

So only use B if you have a very old IE version on the server.
My assumption is there was a problem patching from a very old version to the most recent, and so the B version has extra instructions or code to handle that scenario.
