Hello,
I'm trying to recover an X1400 G2 / BV855A.
I'd try the DVD comming with the machine and one I downloaded (NSS X1000/X3000 G2 System Recovery vSWX 2.00.0a DVD (5697-0647.iso) )
.
Same message :
"This system is not supported by this QuickRestore DVD."
Actions I did :
BIOS set to default
Smart Array Controller : Battery changed
Smart array controller : License code entered
Nothing changed.
Any idea ?
Thx in advance for any help !
Regards
Jo

Re: X1400 G2 (DL320 G6 / BV855A) recover trouble
Thanks Johan,
Your solution worked for me on HP 1440 StoreEasy. I was getting the same error and found the BIOS didn't have p/n: & s/n. I filled the fields and it worked like a charm.
