Compaq Network Management Protocol Driver Service Fails
HI,
I hope someone can help me,
I have just upgraded my ProLiant DL360 G2 server from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Standard Server SP1. I am getting the above error in event viewer every time I restart the server.
I have checked the services and all Compaq/HP Services have started OK, I have installed the latest PSP from the HP Website and I havesearched the internet for help.
I haven't been able to find anything which helps me so far.
Can anyone please help?

Re: Compaq Network Management Protocol Driver Service Fails
Hi Alastair,
I don't know if you have followed the proper procedure in upgrading your Operating system to windows 2003 but I would like you to examin this document
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00208465/c00208465.pdf
I would say try uninstalling the compaq network teaming, if already have installed, and apply SPS 7.3 which is just released a couple of days ago and then reinstall the NIC teaming utility
Regards

Re: Compaq Network Management Protocol Driver Service Fails
Hi Again,
I woulsd suggest this upgrade as well
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/software/us/download/19556.html
In general, Upgrade your PSP to the new one which is 7.3 released on April 25, 2005.
Regards
