Corrupt OS on ML350
Here is my hardware configuration. It has 3, 72GB disks in a RAID 5 config on a 642 smart array controller
Software: OS is Microsoft Win2003 Std server
Application : Exchange 2003
Symptons: I have been looking at various option to repair corrupt OS on ML350. One of the options I was looking at is using ASR. Unfortunately I have problems with it. After doing the ASR backup to an external disk and the backup info to the diskette. Whenever I try to recover I always have problems with restoring, something to do with "ntbackup recover /1 /sifpath=c:\windows\repair\asr.sif" unrecoverable error.
I am using an external hardisk connected through USB port for ASR backup. ANy help will be appreciated
