Degraded drive member in array using Mega IDE Raid

HP Proliant Server ML330, using LSI Mega IDE Raid Bios 2.7 with two Seagate Barracuda 40 GB drives (model #ST340014A-7200 rpm. Device 0 is reporting a degraded status at boot. I want to replace drive with exact drive replacement. Does anyone have electronic documentation on configuring the drive properly for a RAID level 1 configuration?
