DL385G2 + MSA50
We've had a problem with this setup for a bit now so time to ask for help.
DL385G2 with 2 x P600 controllers. 1 connects the internal SAS disks and the other connected externally to an MSA50.
Windows 2003 Enterprise with SP2 installed and running. Version 7.91 of Proliant Support Pack.
Problem - When copying varying amounts of files we get a blue screen with Hardware Malfunction.
What we've done - All firmware in the solution has been upgraded to the latest revsions using the firmware maintenance CD. We've tried replacement P600 controllers and even a 2nd MSA50.
I've seen a fair amount of storport.sys type blue screens in my searches but even when I try to update that I get a blue screen. The latest driver for the P600 has been downloaded from HP dated 28th February 2008.
Anyone come across this one before please ?

Re: DL385G2 + MSA50

the only different is that i have a Microsoft Windows Server 2003
standard Edition SP1 and the P600 have firmware 1.98

Re: DL385G2 + MSA50
We never did find a solution to this problem. We ended up using one P600 and one P400 controller.
We had no further issues after this.
