Dumpcheck indicated a possible memory corruption

Our server rebooted because of STOP: 0x0000004d. Dumpcheck and Microsoft verfied there is possible caused by physical memory corruption.

Hwd : ProLiant DL380 G3
Ram Size : 1,048,576 KB (1,024 MB) (1 GB)
Server role : This NAS device replicates to a master NAS device.

Need assistance if someone could help me to advise or bring up any advise if this could be memory issue? Thanks.

Sure Sujith, I will try to engage onsite to perform the memory diagnose. By the way, do we have that software online which I can download? Does this diag require server reboot? Thanks a bunch!

Re: Dumpcheck indicated a possible memory corruption

Hello Rahim,

You can Download SmartStart from :
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/27210.html

Thats for smartstart 7.8, in case there is a trouble, You can go to "REVISION HISTORY"
& use the SMARTSTART 7.7.

Yes, its Called OFFLINE DIAGS, using smartstart CD. You need to boot from the CD.

In case you dont want to do that,
Refer :

James.

Re: Dumpcheck indicated a possible memory corruption

Is there anything related to the system DIMM's in the SMH's (System Management Homepage) IML (Integrated Management Log)?
