I am trying to install windows 2000 on a server that has 3 x 72G scsi disks, but I am getting a message that disk missing. I suspect the installation is failing to detect the hard drives, although the 3 hard disks are detected by bios when its loading. I am using the smart start disk, and I do not have a disk array. Can anyone help

Re: failing to install windows 2000 on ML 370 G4 server
You need to use the smartstart CD to install it. You can get around this by using the driver disk option when the installer first starts, but i strongly suggest using smartstart as it will install all the other HP software as well.
Use the latest version available for your server. Download it as a .iso file and burn to a CD. Boot from this rather than your O/S CD.
