Fankit on maximum after installation Windows 2008 Standard on DL380 G4
Dear all
After installing Windows 2008 on the DL380 G4 the fankit is running on maximum until I reboot. I don't know why because we have a moderat temperatur +/- 20 degrees and with 2003 standard we had this only on a heavy CPU load. The CPU load (we took away some vms) it's less than 5% and 1200 MB allocated (of 4096 MB). A installed Smartstart for x64 Windows 2003 (Version 7.91).
Any ideas ?

this is typically the case when no insight management agents are loaded i.e. health driver. I guess for w2k8 they are still to be released.

Re: Fankit on maximum after installation Windows 2008 Standard on DL380 G4
Hi Kris
I removed the Smartstart Insight Tools (all without Array Configuration) 7.91 and now there is so silent that I can sleep in my office :-)). It looks like this is the problem. So I have to wait for the 2K8 version. Strange is that the server is working fine a few days before it begins to do make this akustic terrorism ...
Thankx in advance
Matthias
