Fatal error SCO UNIX cannot detect hard drive or must have more than 80mg on hard drive
While installing UNIXWARE 2.1.2 on my Proliant 1600, I get the following error message: "Fatal error SCO UNIX cannot detect hard drive or must have more than 80mg on hard drive".
Does anyone have any idea about how to remedy this. I have followed the sco.com support's solution, and it just does not make any sense! Can anyone help? Thanks.

Re: Fatal error SCO UNIX cannot detect hard drive or must have more than 80mg on hard drive
Hi,
maybe not that it's too tough, but this forum is less active that its corresponding IT Resource Center forum (as opposed to the Business Support Forum).

As to your problem, have you created the EFS disks? I'm no Unixware expert, but I remember installing it in training once (a few years ago), and you needed these disks to get anywhere.
You can download them here:

If you can't get any further, try the ITRC forums. You might get another answer there.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: Fatal error SCO UNIX cannot detect hard drive or must have more than 80mg on hard drive
I'll give the EFS a try. I also heard about doing this, but I can only find UnixWare 7.0, and I have 2.1. But who knows maybe it will work!! Thanks.
