FileServer very long reboot
Hello,
i have a problem with our FileServer. The Server is a HP DL 380 G3 with a MSA 1000 (Windows 2000 ServicePack 4 and a QLogic 2214 HBA).
A reboot with the MSA 1000 lasts 1 hour.
(the reboot stops for 1 hour in the Windows 2000 Server Family Screen)
Without the MSA the reboot lasts 2-3 minutes.
I changed the drivers from the QLogic HBA and the PCI X Card with no result.
I think, it´s a problem with the logical drives.
Can someone help me??

Re: FileServer very long reboot
Hi.
Is it possible that the server tries booting from the logical drives?
I had a similar problem here and disabling the HBAs BIOS solved the problem.
Maybe you could give this a try.
