HP NC7781 Gigabit Server Adapter
I keep getting receive overruns on the HP NC7781 Gigabit Server Adapter on our HP DL 380's. Has anyone else ever seen this? The adapters are all set to their default settings.

Re: HP NC7781 Gigabit Server Adapter
I'm having a similar problem even after upgrading to the latest drivers and NIC utils. However in my case I have a source server running a dual-gig switch assisted load balancing team over a Cisco 5000. There are no errors on the source NICs or the switch ports, but the receiving server keeps reporting "receive overruns". The receiving server has a single gig connection. I enabled "Rx/Tx pause" on both ends and increased the receive buffer on the destination server, but the condition remains unchanged. As always, this is in a production environment so I unfortunately I can't play with the setup as much as I would like. My next step will be to dissolve the source team and run on single gigs... Anybody else experience (or solve) this problem?
