HP ProLiant DL380 G5 slow shutdown in Win 2003 R2 with SQL 2005
It takes only 1 min to finish the screen "Windows is shutting down". Then the screen goes to a complete "grey" with only the mouse cursor left. It will then stay for over 5 mins. before it can poweroff or reboot! The SAS harddisks in RAID 1 are just flashing alternatively during the time. It seems that the Windows services have been shutdown but the machine is still waiting for some hardware events (I guess related to the RAID). Any idea to troubleshoot?

Did you install PSP 7.80?

Maybe this?
'A Windows Server 2003-based computer that uses the Storport storage driver stops responding when you try to restart or shutdown the computer'
