HP PROLIANT ML350 WINDOWS NT4 INSTALLTION PROBLEM.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have checked the HP web site about this server, it doen't not support Windows NT4 server, but somehow we can get the support driver from the smart-start CD, just not appear on the automated installation screen. So the only way to get the driver is to create the drivers on the floppy disk. When windows NT setup display the message: setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration... press F6. This prevents windows NT setup from perfoming disk controller detection and allows you to install the driver from the driver disk you created.
At first I though is the RAID driver problem, but, i have taken out the RAID card & connect the SCSI cable to the onboard SCSI controller. The problem is, during the Windows NT4 installation phases on the blue screen time, when it load the keyboard & mouse, the server just reboot by itseft.
try few times still the same problem. ( reboot )
But windows 2000 server no problem at all.
Anyone face this type of problem before ?
pls help.
TQ.
