HP R3000RX UPS and Hp Power Manager 4.2.6 for linux

Hi

When I install the hp power manager 4.6.2 on ESX, the UPS is detected on Tty1 and then the software installation tries to start DevManBE.
However, the start fails after about 5 Minutes simply with "Could Not start HP Power Manager".
Any thought on why this could be?
