Installing 2nd processor in Netserver
does anyone know where I can get a doc on installing a 2nd processor in a Netserver LC 2000r? thanks

hi paul,
Dont know about docs specifically on the web, however it will be on HP's main ste under support if there is one.
however do you have the navigator cd?
I'm sure there are installation notes on that regarding upgrades. Also if you bought a HP product one you would recieve a data sheet with that.
And also on the lc2000's when you remove the cover of the server you should see a card inside with detailed info on processor speeds/switches and where to install it.
That said it is pretty straight forward to install the hardware and when the server boots up, should say dual proceesor initalized or something similar.
Then when in windows you will just have to enable the second CPU. op sys dependant of course.
