Installing NC7771 Nic Cards onto NT4 Servers

I am trying to upgrade to gigabyte network. However I have a problem with 4 NT4 Servers (DL380 G2 Models) I have several GB Nic Cards including: NC7170 & NC7771 & NC1020, when I install them onto the NT4 Server, it adds them, but they never appear in the adaptors section, or in the HP network section. If I remove all existing cards and then add a card, it always adds a NC3134, which is the card on the mothboard. The drivers im using say they are NT4, they came on the HP Cd with the nic card. Any help would be greatly received.
I have added a card onto the same server that is running Windows 2000.
