Installing SATA Hard Drives on Proliant ML350 G5 Server

Hello All,

I have tried installing 2 500GB SATA Hard Drives on my Proliant ML350 G5 Server but the Hard Drives are not recognized by the System. Even the Status LED of the Hard Drives do not light up to show that there is power to the Hard Drive. The Hard Drive model are as follows

Name: Barracuda ES
Model: GB0500C4413
GPN: 397906-001
Firmware: HPG3

I am installing it on a Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2.

I will appreciate your help and response. Thanks

PN 397906-001 does not seem to be listed as a supported part on ML350 G5 QuickSpecs:

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12475_na/12475_na.html

It is listed as a spare part for ML350 G3 however: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=ch&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=1119042&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=c00542768

Is it possible that the trays are not interchangeable? (The drive itself should work.)
