IP Console switch not accepting more than 5 expansion modules

IP console switch ( HP KVM CAT5 3x1x16) does not recognize more than five 8 port expansion modules, although specifications of IP console switch or any other documentation does not provide any information on this type of limitations. This type of IP console switch should support 256 servers connected, we are able to connect only 51 server.
We tried all combinations with different modules, different ports on switch. Firmware updated on related equipment.
Did not get any help with troubleshooting problem with HP support.
Does anybody have any experience with this type of problem?

Re: IP Console switch not accepting more than 5 expansion modules

IP Switch has 16 ports.
I have connected five 8 port expansion modules, which are accomodating 40 servers (5x8=40). Conenction those 5 modules to IP switch I have left available 11 port ports where I can conenct servers directly. So, 40 from expansion modules and 11 directly on IP switch is 51.
I do not need 128 or 256 servers to conenct exact number is 89, so please respond if somebody has expirienced simillar problem (or did not have problems) connecting more than five 8 port expansion modules onto IP switch to let me know.
