KVM server console switch

We have just purchased an expansion module for the HP Server Console Switch. When connected per the User Guide, I get nothing when selecting the port to which its connected. The documentation leaves much to be desired. Has anyone experienced this?

you probably have to configure the port as a "cascaded" port so the master kvmswitch knows there is another switch attached instead of a single host.
