L1000 Compatibility
Hi all,
I have an HP9000 L1000 Server( REF = A5576) with 2 processors, 1GB RAM, 2 x 18 GB DD.
My questions are the following:
1. Will the upgrade to HPUX 11.23 cause any problems ?
2.Is it possible to connect an EVA 4000 2C1D ( with a san swith of course) to this server. If yes do you have the documents that proves it !
Thanks very much

Re: L1000 Compatibility
Hi Tarik,
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12079_div/12079_div.HTML#Supported%20Hardware
L1000 = RP5400
You will need to check if you have the latest firmware installed on your server.
http://docs.hp.com/en/5449/System_Firmware_Matrix_4-8.html
Also check your pci cards, could be the additional lan cards are not supported for V2, you may have to buy a new one.
Best regards,
Robert-Jan
Ps, there is a HP9000 server forum.
