LH 3000 Event Log

Hello,
i am a new owener of a LH3000 Netserver. I have it buy from Ebay :-)
Well, it works fine, but the last days i read a massage, that the event log on the front panel is full. No, i read here, that i need the Navigator cd rom, but i dont have it :-(
Can anyone tell me, where i can buy or download ?

Michael,

if this LH3000 runs Windows, install the Instant Toptools s/w and from their you can erase the SEL (hardware log).

Before you do so, pls check the last entries
to make sure the server has no hardware problem.

Hi Markus,

don't think their are management agents for Debian, here are the ones available for the LH3000 :

The SEL can always be cleared offline when booting from the Navigator cd rom.

If the server happens to have the optional TTRC (TopTools Remote Control Card) installed, you can clear the SEL from their when the server is ONLINE .

Last method is via the serial IRA (Integrated Remote Asistant) port if configured in the F2 SETUP of the server and clear it from their but you need a serial cable and terminal emulator to connect to it. This is also online possible, no downtime for the server.
