Microserver Gen8 with P222 results in high cooling fan speed
I believe this is a known issue, but with no known solution?
I have a Gen8 Microserver that I have installed a P222 controller - a valid option part. Yet since installing, the system fan has increased from <10% to a far too noisy 70%. The highest system temp is 57c for Sensor 10.
iLO version is 1.51 and system BIOS is version J06 06/06/14 which I believe are both the latest versions. OS is Server 2012 R2 Std.
How on earth can I get the fan down to an acceptable speed? It's ruining an otherwise good product.
