ML150 G2

We are attempting to setup a new Proliant ML150 G2 server with and install Windows Server 2003 Standard. I have setup the array with RAID 5. When we run the Windows 2003 install CD, it tells me there is no hard disk to install on. Am I missing something?

Re: ML150 G2

This machine has the Adaptec 2120S SCSI RAID controller. I already tried loading that when asked for 3rd Party controllers and it will not even load the driver from this.

Make sure that during the Windows 2003 install you press F6 at the very beginning after Windows starts loading (you will see a message at the bottom of the screen). If you try to load them later it will not work.

Re: ML150 G2

We figured out our problem. The floppy drive cable was not in all the way. I finally figured out that the drive was not making any noise even though the light would come on like it was running. Once the cable was seated all the way, we were off-and-running. Thanks to all for your assistance.
