ML330G3 2nd Network Card NIC System Fails

The system works fine with the inbuilt NIC. It loads Windows Small business Server 2003 and waits for prompts for a second NIC. If this is inserted whilst server is on, it is seen in PCI SLot 1 and can be accessed with the drivers SBS2003 has.
When system needs to reboot however, the server starts then stops before the window load due to this 2nd NIC being installed. The system can see the 2nd NIC in slot 1 and can change the interrupts but will not work. Remove the 2nd NIC and server boots up fine.
How can I overcome this?
PS. Have loaded the latest firmware and no change to problem

Re: ML330G3 2nd Network Card NIC System Fails

Hi, Hot plug as otherwise it would hang.

Since post have found that if press F9/F10 top get into BIOS, as before can see the 2nd NIC with an interrupt. Previously had tried changing the interrupt. Tried disabling the NIC from in the BIOS and subsequently the reboot worked and did not hang. From within SBS2003, set up the NIC and seems to work fine and reboots as NIC only gets set-up after the initial TOM set-up.

Seems to me that there must be a way of adding drivers or something else to what I have done.....
