ml350 g4p has two sata connector on the motherboard

any idea on how to get them working, while the scsi drives are also runing.
this is the built in 2 x sata connectors on the motherboard beside the built in scsi connectors.

i have the same problem in our server...
we have a SCSI based ML350 G4P server...
we want to upgrade the storage capacity by installing 1 Seagate Baracuda 500GB SATA HDD...
but the BIOS doesnt detect the HDD...
what shoul i do to make the SATA working...???

i hope someone answers this problem...tnx

I have exactly the same problem. If you go into the BIOS it clearly states the on-board S-ATA controller is in fact disabled. There is also AFAIK no way of enabling the controller in BIOS since it is greyed out and not selectable.

Perhaps a BIOS upgrade would do the trick? Does anyone at HP know?
