if other workstation will connect to the database

i'm using sql '05 stand edition.nd sometimes if i open tables it hangs again.is there incompatability issue bout my hardware and software.hope to hear frm u soon.tnx

did you update all firmware (now release 8.0)?

i'm using smrt strt 7.9.thus frmwares affect the servers?so i have to upgrade all the time.y my cloned servers don't hang were using the same OS nd programs.tnx for ur reply
