ML370G2 CPU speed wrong
Hi,
I just took over the operation of an old ML370G2. The machine has 2 x 1.4GHz Pentium 3s, but they are only running at 1.05GHz - 100MHz * 10.5 instead of 133MHz * 10.5. WCPUID and the Windows System screen identify the CPUs as 1.4GHz Pentium III S CPUs.
Does anyone know how to force the system to operate using a 133MHz FSB? I've tried clearing CMOS, upgrading the BIOS, etc, to no avail.
Thanks in Advance,
Andrew

Re: ML370G2 CPU speed wrong
Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the ML370 G2 (only G3 through G5), but have you confirmed that all of the installed system DIMM's are in fact 133MHz?

Re: ML370G2 CPU speed wrong
Hi,
Yes, I've confirmed that all the DIMMS are 133Mhz (I've also tried known working 133MHz DIMMs from other servers in this system with no change).

Re: ML370G2 CPU speed wrong
There is nothing jumping out at me in the ML370 G2 Server Setup and Installation Guide, but have you checked for a possible jumper or DIP switch misconfiguration?
Do you have other ML370 G2's that you can compare?
