NC7760 Network Card - Promiscuous Mode?
Does the NC7760 support promiscuous mode?
If it does, how is it enabled?
I have not been able to find information whatsover on the HP website regarding this.
Thanks.

Re: NC7760 Network Card - Promiscuous Mode?
Everytime I needed a NIC to be in "Promiscuous Mode" it usually required using a driver that was designed for p-mode.
Have you done this before with other cards? If so, how was it accomplished? Driver? software? dip switches?

Re: NC7760 Network Card - Promiscuous Mode?
Steven,
I have never had to set a NIC in promiscuous mode before... I updated the driver and the firmware, and then saw on a Microsoft KB article (it's a Windows box) that all I needed to do was clear the network components for that nic.
