NetServer LH 3000 auto reboots for no reason...
Hi,
I have an old LH 3000 running W2K SP4 which has been running flawlessly for a few years. Now all of the sudden the server is rebooting by itself sometimes 3 to 6 times a day.
There are no errors logged in any of the logs (OS and server). Everything seems to be in order.
Any ideas? Does this server have ASR and should it be disabled? If so how? I have a system partition on it (F12).
Thanks!!
Geroge

Any software or hardware changes made recently?
Power flucuations?
Memory and/or PCI cards need reseating?

Re: NetServer LH 3000 auto reboots for no reason...
Hi,
Thank for the message.
Nothing has changed on the server at all. Even the last set of security patches was weeks before the problem showed up.
The server is on a colocation center and its using the same power distribution unit as other 6 servers. All others are fine, so I presume there is no issue/fluctuations with the power source.
I think it may be the power supply on the server, but all the checks/sensors in TopTools and TopTools Remote Card show everything is OK.
Other people have suggested disbling ASR on the server, but I don't know where to do that.
Thanks,
Gearge
