Netware 6.5 with SP8 on BL20p G3 blades abending with CPU Hog detected by timer
Is there any information regarding Netware servers in a cluster upgraded to SP8 abending regularly with CPU Hog errors. The abends are caused by one particular volume of 1.2 Tb which is on an MSA1000. The volume has had an NSS /POOLREBUILD done on it.
The latest PSP has been applied, firmware and BIOS updated, timeout duration amended with various settings, etc.
None of our other cluster servers with SP8 on different hardware have any problems at all.
None of the remedial operations done on these blades have helped, whether it be Novell-related or HP drivers, etc. The server hosting the volume will die at some point no matter what time of day or night, load or no load.
The abends always report spinlock issues.
Any help appreciated.
