Obtaining Product No.
I work with an IT company and keep track of all warranty information for all of our clients. Sometimes I run into an issue where I need to look up warranty information and I only have the Serial No. of a Product and no product no. I do not have access to looking on the back or anything of those devices since they are located with a client. Is there a tool through HP to find a product no. using the Serial Number?

Re: Obtaining Product No.
This will only help if you have remote access to your client's servers, but from the System Management Homepage you can find the Product ID in Home -> System Config -> System Information -> Asset Control Information.

Re: Obtaining Product No.
Send an e-mail to srg@hp.com with all your serial numbers.
They will reply with warranty/contract status

Great, thanks for that email address. I hope to get a positive response from them.
