P400 RAID V Add Drive
I have physically added a new SAS drive to our existing RAID V array. I have updated the firmware on the drives and the P400 as well as updated ACU. I am unable to see the option in ACU to add the drive to the existing array, even though it sees the unassigned drive. This is a DL380 G5 machine. The drives are all identical, even down to the same exact model #.
Why am I not able to expand the array online? I thought the P400 supported this? There is 256 memory on the board, but no battery.

Re: P400 RAID V Add Drive
Hei Eric..
I've got the same prob. Manual says you can expand the array and use the ACU..
Solved it yet?
Thanks
Simon

Re: P400 RAID V Add Drive
The battery is required for array expansion.
